Frequently Asked Question
You may need to activate by file if your computer has no access to the Internet, or if security software is deployed that prevents VP License Manager from accessing the Internet.
Click Start and type VP License Manager, and press Enter. Click the button to manage whatever ViewPlus Software you are activating.
Fill in the license number, and any of the personal information you don't mind sharing. Check the acknowledgement checkbox and click Activate by File.
You are asked whether you have received a response file. Click No.
A request file will be saved in your Documents folder. You are instructed to a web page where you can upload the request file. Click OK.
Open your web browser and go to our activation page:
https://viewplus.com/viewplus-support/activate-deactivate-by-file/
Click Manual Activation.
Browse to find your Activation Request file.
Download your response file.
Launch VP License Manager again, and this time, click Yes when asked if you have your response file.
Browse to select the response file, typically in the Downloads folder.
Your license should be activated.
