When updating firmware for your embosser, you must have the embosser connected directly to the computer with a USB cable. The print queue must be clear of any print jobs. Close all other applications while updating firmware and read directions that appear in the dialogue box when you run the program. If the firmware update does not complete successfully, try using a shorter USB cable. We recommend using a cable no longer than 6 feet long. Also, make sure that you have a printer driver corresponding with the firmware for that embosser loaded onto that computer before you install.
