Frequently Asked Question
Columbia/Delta: The printer just makes a beep
Last Updated 5 years ago
In 2018, updates to the Columbia/Delta firmware and driver were released. If you have an older Columbia or Delta, with the older firmware, and you install the newer driver, the embosser may not work.
1: Download and run the latest firmware update available here. https://viewplus.com/download/. You should hear a series of ascending notes and finally the usual beeps the embosser makes when you power it up. If you have any trouble installing the firmware, power off the embosser, power it back on and try again.
2: Install the newest driver available here: https://viewplus.com/download/. Restart the PC, and wait until you have logged into Windows before connecting the embosser.
