Frequently Asked Question
Magic Colors and ViewPlus Embossers.
Last Updated a year ago
In order to prevent embossing regular text in documents, TSS formatter renders them in a "magic" color. When the embosser finds this specific color in a document it does not emboss it. Likewise there is a magic color that an ink capable ViewPlus embosser will not apply ink to, and only emboss.
The braille dots in a Word document use RGB (6,7,8), in order not to be printed in ink.
Ink texts that will not be embossed have the ink only color, which is RGB(5,6,7)
