Light Braille Dots on One Side of the Paper
Last Updated 8 years ago
If you are embossing interpoint, and are getting light dots on one side of the paper, you may need to change your media type. This is more noticeable when using lighter weight paper.
Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your embosser and select Printing Preferences.
Navigate to the Paper/Media tab and select the media type similar to what you are using.
You should also change the default media type for your embosser.
Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your embosser, and select Printer Properties.
Navigate to the Printer Settings tab. (The embosser must be powered on and connected for the driver to communicate changes to the printer.) Change the default media type under Legacy Settings to match your preference. Listen for the embosser to beep when the change is applied.
