VP Pro and Pro Gen II Packing Instructions

Required Materials:
Replacement shipping items are available from ViewPlus- Original shipping box
- Original shipping foam
- Cardboard shipping header
- Low adhesion tape (masking tape or painters tape)
- Packing tape
Do not include:
Unless specifically requested, please do not include the following items- Power cord
- USB cord
- Driver or software CD
- Pro Ink Attachment
- Paper knob
Packing Instructions:
- Use low adhesion tape on the 3”x1” double shipping block wedge this block through the tractor and between the platen motor and the base.
- Use low adhesion tape on the ribbed side of the 2”x 2” shipping block, wedge the block between the carriage motor and the case. Place the end of the tape so it lies outside of the case, close the lid and adhere the tape to the top of the printer.
- Optional: If you have the shipping bag, bag the embosser and close it with low adhesion tape.
- Place the foam end caps on the sides of the embosser.
- Place the embosser and packing foam into the ViewPlus box.

- Put a cardboard header on top of the embosser inside of the box before closing it up.
- Seal the box with packing tape.
